New in Malta

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 May 2026

1. Who we are

New in Malta (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website at newinmalta.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

2. What data we collect

This website is a marketing landing page. We collect:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring URL, browser and device type. Collected automatically via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics.
  • Interaction data — which buttons and links you click (for example, App Store or Google Play CTAs). Used to understand how visitors engage with the page.

If you submit your email address via the waitlist form, we collect that address to notify you when the app launches and to send a single confirmation email. We do not collect names or any other directly identifying information.

3. Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies are set by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Vercel Analytics collects aggregate, privacy-friendly analytics and does not use cookies. By continuing to use this site, you consent to the use of analytics cookies.

4. How we use your data

We use the data we collect solely to understand how visitors interact with newinmalta.com — which pages are visited most, which CTAs are clicked, and where visitors come from. This information is used to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Analytics 4 — web analytics. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics. No cookies; no cross-site tracking.
  • Vercel — website hosting. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses as part of normal hosting operations.
  • Supabase — database. If you submit your email via the waitlist form, it is stored in a Supabase database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU.
  • Resend — transactional email. Used to send the waitlist confirmation email. Your email address is passed to Resend solely for this purpose and is not used for marketing without your consent.

6. Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics (the minimum configurable period) and for 30 days in Vercel Analytics. Waitlist email addresses are retained until the app launches and you have been notified, after which you may request deletion at any time by emailing info@newinmalta.com.

7. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR as it applies in Malta), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. If you submitted your email address via the waitlist form and wish to have it removed, contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly. Analytics data is anonymised and cannot be attributed to a specific individual.

8. Contact

For any privacy-related questions, contact us at info@newinmalta.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
